What is a semiconductor laser (LD)?

You can think of it as an enlarged version of a laser diode, which emits light directly through a PN junction.

What is a picosecond laser?

Picosecond laser is an ultrashort pulse laser with a pulse width of only 10 seconds. What is this concept?
