The core component of semiconductor laser therapeutic instrument is actually a laser diode (LD). After electrifying, the laser diode emits light with specific wavelength (commonly 650nm, 808nm, 980nm, 1470nm), which is focused by optical fiber or lens and irradiated to the focus of human body.

When the laser enters the tissue, it will be absorbed by the cell mitochondria, promoting the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is simply "activating the cell's energy factory", making the metabolism faster and the repair ability stronger.

At the same time, local microcirculation is improved, inflammatory reaction is reduced, and nerve endings are excited, thus playing the role of analgesia, anti-inflammation and promoting healing.

The structure of semiconductor laser therapeutic instrument;

1. Laser emitting module: The core is laser diode, sometimes with optical fiber output.

2. Drive control circuit: responsible for providing constant current drive for LD to ensure power stability.

3. cooling system: most of them use TEC (thermoelectric refrigeration)+air cooling or water cooling to control the temperature.

Different wavelengths correspond to different purposes.

The penetration depth and absorption characteristics are different with different laser wavelengths. Briefly classify:

650nm (red light): shallow penetration, mainly used for epidermis and mucosa, such as wound healing, skin repair and gingivitis treatment.

808nm (near infrared): the penetration depth can reach 2-3 cm, which is often used for muscle pain, arthritis and soft tissue injury.

980nm: stronger absorption, used in vascular closure, pain physiotherapy, varicose veins and so on.

1470nm: The water absorption rate is high, and it is often used for tissue vaporization and medical surgery, such as nasal surgery and hemorrhoid treatment.

Semiconductor laser therapeutic devices are really widely used, and machines with different powers and wavelengths are also very different. Common applications can be roughly divided into four categories:
