QSI itself is a relatively complete manufacturer of laser diode/compound semiconductor devices, which mainly has the process of EPI → FAB → PACK.
This upstream and downstream integration means that the design, manufacturing and packaging of devices can be well controlled, which is beneficial to the stability of device performance in theory.

Drive, current and voltage management, if the drive circuit is not well designed (current spike, reflected light backflow, not well protected), even if the device is good, it may cause instability or early failure.
Reflected light and optical feedback: If the optical system of the laser diode is not properly designed in use, for example, the reflected light at the output end returns to the device or is reflected by the coupling optical fiber, it may also lead to "laser reflection back" damage or unstable power.
